Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Civil Engineer-Entry Level, you will support project planning, design, and inspection activities while gaining valuable hands-on experience in civil engineering practices. Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project schedules, budgets, and resource planning to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
- Prepare technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools
- Support construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and safety compliance
- Utilize GIS and ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping related to land surveying and system design projects
- Contribute to construction estimating processes by analyzing project scope and material requirements
- Aid in the review of construction documents such as schematics, system designs, and hydraulic calculations using Mathcad, SWMM, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS, and other engineering software
- Participate in geotechnical assessments, hydraulics analysis, and water/wastewater treatment system design efforts
- Document project progress through technical writing and drafting reports for internal review and client communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
- Familiarity with civil engineering software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, HEC-HMS/HEC-RAS, Mathcad, SWMM, and GIS tools is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of construction management principles and construction inspection procedures
- Knowledge of land surveying techniques and system design concepts for water treatment or wastewater systems
- Strong math skills with the ability to perform complex calculations related to hydraulics and geotechnical engineering
- Excellent technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
