We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering appliances safely and efficiently to customer locations, performing professional installations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver appliances to residential or commercial sites, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic laws
- Unload appliances from delivery trucks using hand tools and power tools, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, according to manufacturer specifications and schematic
- Drivers MUST have a Dot Medical Card
- Connect appliances to electrical outlets, water lines, or gas supplies as needed, following proper plumbing and electrical procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers about installation processes, troubleshooting steps, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
- ALL Candidates MUST be able to pass a 7 year background check(Federal,State,Local) and drug test.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (drills, saws) necessary for installation and repairs
- Knowledge of appliance installation procedures across various models and brands
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in different environments
- Electrical experience including wiring connections and troubleshooting electrical faults
- Experience with delivery driver responsibilities including route planning and time management
- Competence in using field service tools such as multimeters or diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting appliances
