Who We Are
Gobbler's Market is a locally owned convenience store and food destination in Dayton, TN. We are opening a Jimmy John's and a Baskin-Robbins franchise inside our store, and we're building both brand new, from the ground up.
The Role
We're looking for one experienced manager to run both new franchises from day one. You'll be hired before we open, attend official corporate training for both brands alongside the owners, and come out ready to run daily operations across both locations. You'll be the founding manager of two brand new concepts in one building, working directly with hands-on owners who are invested in your success. This is a rare opportunity in Rhea County.
What You Will Do
- Attend Jimmy John's and Baskin-Robbins corporate franchise training with the owners, fully paid
- Learn both brand systems from the ground up: operations, food prep, quality standards, customer service, speed
- Help recruit, hire, and train the opening crew for both concepts
- Run daily operations across both locations: opening, closing, product quality, cleanliness, speed
- Manage scheduling, inventory, and ordering within approved guidelines for both brands
- Maintain brand standards for both Jimmy John's and Baskin-Robbins every single shift
- Report daily operations to the owners
- Be the point person when the owners are not on-site
What We Are Looking For
- At least 2 years of management experience in fast food, quick service, or restaurant operations
- Experience managing multiple departments or concepts simultaneously is a strong plus
- Fast-paced mindset - Jimmy John's runs on speed, standards matter on both sides
- Friendly, outgoing personality - Baskin-Robbins is a feel-good brand, your energy matters
- Experience building and training a team from scratch
- Highly organized - you're running two brands under one roof
- Reliable, honest, strong attendance record
- Must be available to travel for corporate training with the owners, dates to be confirmed
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain before opening
