Pay for CDL driver starting at $29 an hour to $45 an hour.
DUTIES:
- Operate and maintain all assigned equipment in an efficient, safe and economical manner; such as; Grapple Truck and additional company equipment.
- Organize from start to completion an operation within the most efficient time possible and to the satisfaction of the client.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Perform all other duties as required or assigned by management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Operate Grapple Truck
- Communicate clearly and distinctively from moderate distances and while equipment is running.
- Understand and practice preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Promptly attend to customer needs and concerns as they arise.
- Ability to react in an emergency situation
- Ability to work outside year-round in a wide variety of terrain and weather conditions.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma (preferred)
- Valid CDL (A or B) with air endorsement (Required)
- Minimum of one year experience operating grapple trucks (preferred)
MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Exerting up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
- Stand and walk at and around the work site With uneven surface.
- Reach (i.e.: extending arms, hands and fingers) and handle (i.e.: holding and grasping tools, limbs, etc.) and twist.
- Work with and around power tools and equipment (i.e. start and utilize chainsaws, chippers, tractors, mowers, brush hogs, sprayers and other tools and equipment as necessary to complete the assigned task).
- Balance (when using equipment), pull and push (i.e.: wheelbarrow).
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- The ability to perform the desired tasks in the presence of distractions or work frustrations.
