Job title: Medical Assistant
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Medical Assistant to join our primary care and chiropractic practice. The Medical Assistant will support the physician and chiropractic team with both clinical and front desk responsibilities, while providing excellent patient care and maintaining a welcoming office environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Current hours needed: Monday to Saturday.

Clinical Duties
- Room and prepare patients for examinations
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
- Assist physicians and chiropractors with patient examinations and procedures
- Perform basic clinical tasks within scope of practice
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clean, organized clinical areas
- Assist with EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, or other procedures as trained and permitted
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- Provide patients with instructions regarding treatments, medications, and follow-up care
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
Front Desk Duties (Must be cross trained in both Medical Assistant/Front Desk)
- Answer phones and assist patients at the front desk as needed
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments as needed
- Verify insurance eligibility and assist with referrals and authorizations as needed
- Enter patient information and update medical records as needed
- Assist with check-in/check-out and collecting copays as needed
Qualifications
- Fluent in English & Spanish
- Proficient in EMR systems such as Practice Fusion and ChiroTouch
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and CPT coding
- Previous experience in medical office management
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
