Job Description:
Eman Schools is seeking a qualified and passionate Arabic and Islamic Studies Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who combines strong content knowledge in Arabic language and Islamic curriculum with the ability to inspire students and nurture their faith and identity within a structured academic setting.
Position Overview
The Arabic and Islamic Studies Teacher will provide daily instruction in Arabic language and Islamic Studies across assigned grade levels, develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans, and work collaboratively with faculty and administration to support student achievement and character development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Arabic language and Islamic Studies instruction aligned with school curriculum and Indiana Academic Standards where applicable
- Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
- Maintain strong classroom management and high academic expectations
- Monitor student progress through assessments and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with faculty and administration across grade levels
- Model and reinforce Islamic values and character development consistent with the mission of Eman Schools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education, or related field preferred)
- Native or near-native Arabic proficiency required
- Valid Indiana teaching license (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Islamic curriculum and Quranic studies
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Pay: $47,808.93 - $57,576.35 per year
