An Electrician 1 is responsible for conducting safety meetings and accident investigations, performing installations and repairs of electrical systems, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Perform safety meetings and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

Conduct accident reporting and post-accident investigations

Install and run cable trays and cables

Install cable glands and work with transit systems

Install conduit and seals
-
Terminate power and control wiring under supervision

Utilize multi-meter for electrical diagnostics
-
Complete all required paperwork as defined by management
-
Work alongside technicians, fitters, and helpers to install and repair safety systems

Read and interpret schematics

Requisition materials and coordinate with clients

Prepare proper JSAs for assigned tasks

Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment

Coordinate crew changes with the project manager

Work at heights with fall protection gear and from ladders or scaffolding

Handle small toolboxes or tool belts while installing and repairing equipment
-
Use hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, socket sets, drills, and cutting devices

High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
Minimum 5 years of offshore and/or land I&E experience

Valid TWIC card
-
Working knowledge of oil and gas production operations preferred (training available)

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently without direct supervision

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, and perform bending and stooping

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including the use of a respirator

Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms

Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
