Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of snack foods and beverages following established recipes and safety standards. Light breakfast items & speciality Drinks (Matcha, Latte's etc.)
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Manage customer orders efficiently, upselling products to enhance sales and guest satisfaction
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions and giving correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workspace, including food handling areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed consistently to meet health regulations
- Assist with food service customer order management, including serving guests promptly and courteously
- Support kitchen operations by operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Uphold high standards of sanitation through regular bussing, sanitation, and workspace organization
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety management practices
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience with food handling, sanitation, and operating kitchen equipment is desirable
- Basic understanding of retail sales transactions and upselling techniques
- Previous cashiering or cash register operation experience is beneficial
- Food industry or restaurant experience will help you succeed in this role
