TEACHING HOURS:
PT- Rate: Available 4 days a week, 9:00 AM-3:30PM/6 hours a day 24 hours a week
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for classroom instruction and supervision in their designated subject areas.
Responsibilities
- Teach HHA and CNA Program lecture and clinical courses in a manner consistent with the established curriculum.
- Supervise students in clinical experiences.
- Evaluate and assess mastery of knowledge and skills through administering and grading examinations, assignments, skills assessments, and clinical evaluation.
- Ensure rules and/or policies governing student conduct and standards of behavior are maintained in all academic settings.
- Require satisfactory performance of all critical knowledge and skills to ensure students are competent before performing patient care activities.
- Prepare students to sit for the NYS Nurse Aid Exam is both computer-based and clinical-based.
Job Requirements:
- Must be an RN with at least 2 years of experience with direct patient care responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years of HHA experience
- Teaching experience preferred. preferred but not required to apply.
