Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Director of Facilities
Location: Ambulatory Health Care Center — Downtown Royal Oak, Michigan

Position Summary
In collaboration with the Henry Ford Health System Facilities Team, the Maintenance Technician maintains the operations of facilities and facility equipment by completing daily functions, work order requests, and repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Unlock buildings and activate lighting as required at the start of each day
- Check building temperatures and reset heating or A/C systems as needed
- Respond to and close out daily work orders and verbal requests from management and tenants
- Remove trash and debris from parking lots, sidewalks, and common areas
- Maintain building safety standards at all times
Maintenance & Repairs
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical components
- Repair locks, doors, and door closers
- Replace light bulbs and ballasts as required
- Perform preventative maintenance on building equipment, including lubrication, belt and filter replacement, and inspection of rooftop units, VAV boxes, pumps, water heaters, and sprinkler systems
- Operate and monitor building control programs and automation systems
Vendor Coordination & Administrative
- Coordinate and schedule vendor work as needed
- Order and pick up supplies from vendors as directed
- Enter and update data in Yardi Property Management software
- Maintain accurate records and perform required reporting
- Prepare and distribute receipts to the accounting department
- Respond to after-hours emergency situations on a rotating on-call schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in facilities maintenance; boiler knowledge preferred
- HVAC certification preferred (EPA 608 Universal, EPA 609 Auto Air, R-410a Certification, TracPipe Certification)
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with creative, practical approaches to equipment and facility challenges
- Professional and courteous demeanor with a commitment to excellence in customer service
- Experience working effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing conditions, and perform under time constraints
- Valid driver's license required
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Boji Group provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and additional company benefits.
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
