Do you have experience in a fast paced environment? Do you love donuts?!? Come join our team! We are looking for a material handler for 1st and 2nd shift. Job duties include:
- Move skids of finished product away from stacking position to the freezer or loading dock. Wrap all skids from top to bottom by hand or by specified equipment.
- Ensure that the Stacker has consistent supply of good pallets. Place broken ones in an area away from lines.
- Ensure that next shift is setup with good pallets, ingredients and packaging materials.
- Stage ingredients for easy access during the shift.
- Ensure shift pallets are put away in a timely manner.
- At the end of the shift or week, the last forklift operator is required to make sure ingredients, corrugated and items used for production are returned to the proper storage area.
- Complete forklift inspection sheet at the beginning of your shift
- Complete an assessment walk through at beginning of shift to look for damaged items, loose stretch wrap, unleveled pallets, lot rotation codes, cleanliness, pallet supplies, loose or cut material straps, etc.
- Put forklifts and powered pallet jacks on charge when not in use.
- Comply with all safety rules. Notify supervisor of any safety issues.
- Follow all CGMP’s.
- Clean your assigned areas and your forklift.
- Fill in as needed on the packing line at the direction of the packing lead or supervisor and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
