Manufacturing Technician Requirements & Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in cable and harness assembly-
Experience with mechanical assembly and electronics

Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, customer drawings, part data sheets, and assembly drawings

Proven skill in converting engineering drawings into assembled products
Manufacturing Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Assemble production custom cables and harnesses according to specifications

Build custom electro-mechanical systems as required for cable and harness projects

Interpret customer product drawings to create production-ready parts

Track all inventoried items relevant to assigned projects

Conduct quality control inspections on both production and custom electro-mechanical systems

Troubleshoot wiring, electronic issues, and components—including continuity testing—across production and custom builds
