Senior Survey CAD Technician / Drafter

We are seeking a highly experienced Survey CAD Technician / Drafter to join our team. This is a senior-level position intended for professionals who can work independently, make informed drafting decisions, and require minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys from start to finish
- Draft Boundary, Topographic, and As-Built Surveys (Water & Sewer) with a high level of accuracy
- Perform layout and construction staking calculations
- Review, interpret, and apply Title Commitments, Plats, Easements, and Legal Descriptions
- Process raw field data and produce final, client-ready deliverables
- Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve drafting/survey issues
- Coordinate directly with project managers and field crews
Requirements (Strict):
- 3+ years of professional survey drafting experience (no exceptions)
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (Carlson strongly preferred)
- Proven experience completing ALTA Surveys independently
- Strong working knowledge of title review and survey standards
- Extensive experience with topographic and utility/as-built surveys
- Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and legal descriptions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines without supervision
Preferred:
- Experience working in South Florida / Miami-Dade
- Familiarity with local municipal and county requirements
