Position Summary
The Upholstery Product Analyst & Coordinator will work closely with the Upholstery Product Line Manager and VP of Upholstery to develop new products and support the product launch and life cycle. This position will interact with the Upholstery Plants, Product Development, IT/BIS, Accounting/Finance, Customer Service, and Sales and Marketing, Creative / Showroom Divisions.
Position Details

Organize and maintain materials and product development projects on the PDweb tool

Coordinate the development of new upholstery products

Prepare, revise, and present product ideas to the merchandising team

Work closely with vendor to review models for accuracy

Research lifestyle, demographics, and design trends

Monitor costs and work within budget
-
Partner with Marketing to create and proof marketing materials and support materials

Liaise with suppliers and source materials
-
Create and maintain relationships with customers and sales reps
-
Act in alignment with the company’s overall culture, products, image, and target market

Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements

BS degree in interior design or product/industrial design
-
Proven work experience in project coordination
-
Ability and willingness to present products to varied groups at Sales trainings
-
Knowledge of current marketplace/product trends and best practices
-
Proficient in MS Office, with intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- AutoCAD or Rhino experience is a must

Ability to sketch and/or render new designs preferable

Ability to analyze merchandising reports and survey results
-
Ability to complete repetitive and detailed work for long periods
-
Must be willing to travel domestically as well as internationally
