About Nicole’s House
Nicole’s House is a one-year, residential Christ-centered recovery ministry that helps women transition from addiction and often incarceration through faith, structure, and community. Our mission is to empower women to experience lasting freedom through surrender to Jesus Christ and equip them to live with purpose, stability, and hope.
Position Summary
The Associate Executive Director serves as the second-in-command of Nicole's House and works alongside the Executive Director to provide organizational leadership, operational oversight, fundraising leadership, and ministry excellence.
This position is intentionally designed as a leadership development role for an individual who demonstrates the character, competency, and calling to eventually serve as Executive Director.
The successful candidate will help lead the daily operations of the ministry while also building relationships with donors, churches, volunteers, community partners, board members, and criminal justice agencies. The Associate Executive Director will oversee key operational functions, strengthen organizational systems, and help ensure the long-term health and sustainability of Nicole's House.
This role is ideal for a servant leader who is equally passionate about ministry, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, organizational development, and helping women experience lasting freedom through Jesus Christ.
Success in the First Year
- Build trusted relationships with staff, residents, board members, donors, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Program Oversight
- Partner with the Executive Director to provide strategic leadership for the ministry.
- Help implement board-approved strategic priorities.
- Supervise staff and volunteers while cultivating a Christ-centered organizational culture.
- Ensure organizational policies, procedures, and systems are consistently followed.
- Serve as acting leader in the Executive Director's absence.
Fundraising & Development
- Develop and steward relationships with individual donors.
- Assist in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major donors.
- Support grant writing and reporting.
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns.
- Assist with donor communications.
- Represent Nicole's House at networking events.
- Build partnerships with churches, businesses, and civic organizations.
- Help execute annual fundraising events.
- Track fundraising metrics using the CRM.
Volunteer & Community Engagement
- Represent Nicole's House throughout Northwest Arkansas.
- Build strategic partnerships.
- Speak to churches and civic groups.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers.
- Develop community awareness.
Operations

Board & Committee Participation
- Prepare reports for the Board.
- Support committee work.

Applicant Screening & Admissions
- Earn credentials through the Benton County Jail Chaplain Program for inmate ministry.
- Visit and vet inmate applicants and maintain ongoing communication throughout the process.
- Screen applicants from behavioral health units, detox centers, and other referral sources.
- Coordinate resident admissions and prepare welcome baskets with hygiene and clothing items.
Case Management & Resident Development
- Meet weekly with residents to assess spiritual, emotional, and behavioral growth.
- Track progress and document notes in resident binders.
- Assign training sessions and encourage residents toward transformation through Christ.
- Celebrate victories and address challenges using truth and compassion.
Administrative & Financial Support
- Assist with CRM software –donor data entry, report creation, and utilizing Zeffy.
- Help with deposits, expense tracking, and financial documentation.
- Lead and/or support development initiatives and networking efforts.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership or management experience
- Experience supervising employees or volunteers
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated relationship-building abilities
- Active Christian faith and commitment to Nicole's House's mission

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
