Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sit Down Forklift/General Warehouse Worker This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate heavy equipment safely while performing essential warehouse tasks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning for logistics accuracy
- Pick and prepare orders efficiently using order picker and manual handling techniques
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Conduct equipment inspections, perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues with pallet jacks, or forklift equipment
- Load/ Unload by hand
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean workspace
Requirements
- Proven experience operating forklifts such as sit-down forklifts
- Certified Forklift Operator
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards including OSHA guidelines and forklift safety protocols
- Basic math skills and computer skills, for inventory counts and order accuracy
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving, order picking, load & unload procedures, and materials handling

Pay: $18.00 - $18.01 per hour
