Job Posting: Area Relief Specialist
Position Type: Full-time
As an Area Relief Specialist, you will work across programs in our residential department, being a role model of providing person centered supports within your assigned area. You will be essential in ensuring that individuals are supported in a person-centered manner, promoting reassurance, stability, and support to both team members and those they support. This role is crucial during long-term openings or when additional staffing is needed.

Be an approved driver, following all DMV and agency driving regulations.

High school diploma or GED

Complete required certifications and maintain knowledge of agency policies and procedures.

Work a flexible schedule, including last-minute changes to schedule or location.

Obtain and maintain certification, nursing delegation and other requirements throughout employment.

Support the training of new advocates

Lift up to 50 lbs and assist in positioning individuals.

Perform physical tasks including walking, house cleaning, and maintaining a professional demeanor.

Handle potential conflict and tension with a positive attitude.

Perform trained restraints as needed, following behavior support plans.

Travel is expected for this position.
