What You’ll Bring:
- Valid licensure and certification as a Special Education Teacher
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting
- Behavior endorsements (required for classroom behavior positions)
- Proven ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement instructional strategies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs within the elementary caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and interventions to elementary students with varying abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
