You’ll collaborate in specialized Autism programs at the elementary level, lend expertise as an Early Childhood educator, or work with high school students with intellectual disabilities. Each position is fully onsite, allowing for real-time engagement and hands-on support in the classroom.
Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (WI licensure preferred)
- Proven experience working with Autism spectrum, early childhood special needs, or students with intellectual disabilities
- Strong background in elementary special education practice
- Behavior endorsements highly desirable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create and adapt instructional plans to accommodate a range of learning styles and needs
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in a collaborative and supportive classroom
- Partner with general education teachers, staff, and administrators for integrated learning experiences
- Track and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Promote safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environments
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams
