The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all work tasks and functions in the warehouse facility.
Responsibilities:

Manage team responsible for all inbound/outbound UPS/Fedex/LTL shipments

Oversee packaging operation to ensure weekly shipping schedules are met and material is packaged properly for domestic and international shipments

Applying accurate packaging costs

Direct work of warehouse staff, address any performance issues as required

Maintain company stock of packaging materials including but not limited to lumber, hardware, tools, shrink wrap, etc

Provide crating recommendations and cost estimates to sales

Oversee all functions of the warehouse including inventory/picking/packing/shipping/receiving/scheduling trucks and perform those duties as needed

Ability to shift personnel and priorities with short notice as rush orders arise

Provide updates and promptly respond to requests from internal groups

Coordinate with QA, inside sales, and our Bristol warehouse to ensure the transfer of material for our manufacturing projects

Investigate shipping discrepancies for material that is wrong/damaged/missing from outside vendors and internally from the Bristol warehouse

Use automated packaging equipment, automated inventory handling equipment, other automated machinery, saws, handheld tools, and/or fork trucks to complete daily tasks. Employees using tools, automated machinery/equipment, and fork trucks will be provided with proper training and safety devices.

Make sure all safety guidelines and procedures are followed throughout the department
Requirements:

High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED), some college experience preferred

5 years of supervisory experience required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience working independently

Experience utilizing computers and MS Office software

A valid driver’s license is required if the employee will be transporting goods by car or truck
-
Onsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
