Position: Bartender

Compensation: $18-$23 base pay + tips (base pay depends on experience)

Position Overview
Arnie’s Rooftop Bar is a coastal-inspired, design-forward venue focused on elevated yet approachable cocktails and guest experiences. We’re looking for friendly, energetic bartenders who genuinely love creating delicious drinks and connecting with people. Ideal candidates have a passion for craft cocktail technique, attention to detail, and a guest-first mindset. You’ll be part of a collaborative, team-oriented rooftop environment where hospitality, consistency, and positive energy set the tone every day.

Key Responsibilities
- Craft cocktails, mocktails, and spritzes according to recipes, techniques, and quality standards
- Provide warm, engaging service while maintaining professionalism at all times
- Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and inventory par levels
- Adhere to all guidelines, policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Stay attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous toward guests and fellow team members
- Collaborate with servers, hosts, and management to ensure seamless operations and smooth service flow
- Uphold responsible service of alcohol and comply with all ABC laws and safety regulations
Guest Experience & Brand Representation
- Uphold a welcoming, elevated guest experience consistent with a premium rooftop venue
- Engage directly with guests to create connection, offer recommendations, and encourage repeat visits
- Demonstrate calm, professionalism, and diplomacy when addressing guest questions or concerns
- Anticipate guest needs to create an environment that feels warm, inclusive, and thoughtfully executed

Qualifications
- 2+ years bartending experience in a craft cocktail–focused or upscale bar environment
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktail technique, and balanced flavor profiles
- Ability to multitask with grace in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Warm personality, attention to detail, and a team-first mindsetAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must hold valid food handler and responsible beverage service (RBS) certification
