Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Family Medicine Physician & Core Faculty provider in Syracuse, New York.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Academic Family Medicine role combining outpatient patient care with residency faculty responsibilities
- Structured 60% Family Medicine clinical practice and 40% residency faculty teaching model
- Opportunity to mentor and supervise residents, Nurse Practitioners, Midwives, and Physician Assistants

COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $250,000 annually
- Student loan repayment eligibility up to $100,000
SCHEDULE
- Monday through Friday schedule
- 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Part-time opportunities available
- Approximately 3 patients per hour
ROLE
- Provide outpatient Family Medicine services within family practice model
- Teach residents comprehensive, high-quality patient care delivery
- Support resident development toward independent practice readiness
- Provide supervision for Nurse Practitioners, Midwives, and Physician Assistants
- Participate in departmental meetings and committee responsibilities
- Perform administrative and faculty responsibilities as assigned
- Participate in night and weekend on-call coverage rotation
- Foster collaborative interdisciplinary care and clinical excellence

Requirements:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine REQUIRED
- Clear and active New York medical license REQUIRED
- Strong patient-centered communication skills REQUIRED
- Interest in academic medicine and resident teaching REQUIRED
- Ability to supervise advanced practice providers REQUIRED
- Commitment to compassionate, collaborative care REQUIRED
