Job Description: The Physical Wellness Coach is responsible for delivering personalized fitness coaching to our clients, ensuring that each individual receives high-quality, engaging, and effective wellness sessions. As a Physical Wellness Coach, you will work closely with clients to help them achieve their physical wellness goals, fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Coaching:
- Lead one-on-one or small group fitness sessions, tailoring exercises to meet the unique needs and abilities of each client.
- Utilize proven strategies and evidence-based practices to empower clients to make sustainable behavior and lifestyle changes.
- Monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement and goal attainment.
Program Delivery:
- Implement the physical wellness programs developed by the Director of Innovation, ensuring they are executed effectively and in line with the intended outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Director of Innovation to continuously refine and enhance the program, striving to deliver the best wellness experience possible.
- Maintain accurate records of each session using the InControl app, which manages appointments, client notes, and more.
- Ensure that all sessions are conducted in a safe, enjoyable, and supportive environment.
Client Engagement:
- Cultivate a positive and energetic atmosphere where clients view wellness as a joyful activity rather than a chore.
- Develop strong, supportive relationships with clients, encouraging their growth and success in achieving their wellness goals.
- Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and address any concerns or adjustments needed in their program.
Continual Learning:
- Stay informed on the latest trends in fitness and wellness to continually enhance your coaching skills.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities provided by InControl.
- Bring innovative ideas and approaches to the team to improve our services and outcomes for clients.
Qualifications Required:
- A personal training certification or a degree in a health-related field (e.g., exercise science, kinesiology).
- CPR certification (required before starting work, but not necessary for applying).
- Uplifting attitude and a passion for helping others achieve their wellness goals.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
- Must pass a state background check.
- Ability to work at least one evening per week preferred.
- Must be able to conduct private, confidential conversations, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
