Job Summary
We are seeking a SUSPENSION TECHNICIAN, that can perform lift kits and leveling kits in a timely manner! Also If you can do alignments, front end replacement like control arms, tire rod ends, and more. We do pay overtime. we are looking for 5 to 6 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
- Service and maintain vehicles through oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Repair and replace air brake systems, diesel engines, powertrain components, and auto body parts as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts following manufacturer specifications.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly to clients.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Extensive knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), auto electrical systems, and automotive electrical troubleshooting.
- Skilled in diesel engine repair, powertrain maintenance, transmission servicing, and auto body repair techniques.
- Proficient with schematics reading, welding techniques, vehicle alignment procedures, suspension work, tire service including mounting/demounting and balancing.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is advantageous.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment effectively while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during every interaction.
