Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant or Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting medical administrative tasks.
This position is Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-1pm
Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures
- Working in a EHR system
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling insurance forms
- Ensure proper sterilization of medical instruments and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Medical Assistant/ Surgical Technologist program or certification
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques
- Proficiency in EHR systems
- Strong work ethic
-Self-motivated: Works well on their own without needing someone to tell them what to do.
-Proactive: Takes action and solves problems before waiting for orders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
