SpatialGIS Services is seeking a talented individual to support our software and data engineering teams by enhancing our DevOps tools, culture, and processes. In this role, you'll be instrumental in enabling the rapid and stable delivery of our applications and technologies.
You'll identify, prototype, engineer, and deploy cutting-edge software engineering and DevOps tools, while also operating and supporting our suite of enterprise DevOps services. We're looking for someone who can establish, manage, automate, and enhance our DevOps pipelines, as well as define and promote enterprise-wide software engineering and DevOps standards. Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and other engineers to integrate DevOps best practices and automation for improved program performance and reduced risk.
Develop Infrastructure as Code to control all aspects of software environments and version-controlled releases.
Containerize Java and Python code, optimizing for deployment in a Kubernetes environment to ensure high availability and parallel processing.
Leverage AWS best practices to reduce compute costs while incorporating autoscaling and scheduling resources based on program demand.
Work closely with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to design software with the production environment in mind.
Automate and version control deployments, ensuring a controlled process that enables zero downtime.
Incorporate security scanning and other best practices to ensure new deployments comply with industry standards.
Partner with the ISSE to implement security tools within the build pipeline.
Document work in alignment with Agile Development practices.

Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required.
