Primary Responsibilities:

To provide supportive services that will assist in meeting the needs of students.

Prepare and communicate clear objectives which guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum and/or individual goals.

Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.

Work cooperatively with other school personnel in the identification, diagnosis, and remediation of individual students with specialized needs.

Make provisions for parental communication through conferences and other means to discuss student progress and interpret the school program.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree and appropriate Illinois State Teaching Certification. LBS1 required.
