SCOPE OF THE POSITION:
The Learning Facilitator is responsible for identifying and supporting the ongoing learning needs of employees across Production and supporting departments. This role requires strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to ensure daily employee development and progress. In addition, the Learning Facilitator plays a key role in designing and enhancing future educational programs, bringing creativity and innovation to workforce development initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Educate new direct hires and temporary staffing hires on company policies and procedures.
- Assist with new employee OSHA safety education and assist / coordinate the Safety Department with annual company employee safety refresher education.
- Roytec University Instructor (Production Basic Education) for all incoming production floor operators.
- Develop learning schedules specific to the positional needs for all departments.
- Communicate learning schedules and follow up on progress with employees and their supervisors.
- Track all active education gaining insight and updates from production and department supervisors.
- Become proficient with SharePoint Lists, Qualification Matrix, and management of L&D records.
- Develop notification schedules for all reoccurring education.
- Perform refresher classes and recertification education as needed or requested.
- Stay current on internal work processes, policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
- Assist production and support departments in the development of education materials as needed.
- Any other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
ACADEMIC & TRADE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Graduate
- 2 + years instructional training experience; or equivalent combination of undergraduate education and instructional training experience.
- Previous LMS experience highly preferred
- Previous experience communicating effectively with supporting departments preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office; Power Point, Excel, word processing and presentation software skills.
- Excellent time management, public speaking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-Starter – you will be asked to provide examples of previous success in taking initiative in your work.
- A 10-minute presentation or portfolio of content development may be requested in the interview process.
This position requires occasional long periods of standing, walking and occasional lifting to 25lbs.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
