We built the kind of therapy company we always wished existed.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Lauralee's Speech Therapy, I know firsthand how rewarding—and challenging—it can be to provide therapy in the home. I also know what it feels like to work for an agency where therapists can feel disconnected, unsupported, or simply like another name on a schedule.
That's why I started Lauralee's Speech Therapy.
My goal wasn't simply to build another therapy agency. I wanted to build a place where therapists love coming to work because they feel supported, appreciated, and challenged to grow. I believe that when therapists are cared for, families receive better care too.
Today, we're looking for an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team serving children throughout Gilbert and the surrounding East Valley.
✔ Who We Serve
Our clients are members of Arizona's Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and have diagnoses including:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Cerebral Palsy
- Down Syndrome
- Epilepsy
- Genetic Disorders
- Developmental Delays
- Other lifelong developmental disabilities
Because of our population, experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required.
Services are provided in our members' homes, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with families while helping children become more independent in their everyday lives.
✔ Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who...
✔ Loves working with children.
✔ Enjoys partnering with families.
✔ Can think creatively when therapy doesn't go as planned.
✔ Is comfortable working with challenging behaviors and supporting families through difficult moments.
✔ Wants to continue growing as a therapist.
✔ Values relationships, communication, and teamwork.
✔ Enjoys working independently while knowing support is only a phone call away.
Feeding therapy experience is a huge plus—but not required.
✔ What You'll Do
- Provide individualized occupational therapy services in children's homes.
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Help children develop functional skills that increase independence and participation in daily life.
- Educate and collaborate with caregivers to encourage carryover at home.
- Complete daily SOAP notes and quarterly progress reports.

✔ What Matters Most to Us
We're building more than a therapy company.
We're building a team of therapists who support one another, continue learning, communicate openly, and genuinely enjoy coming to work.
Five years from now, I hope every therapist on our team can honestly say:
"I became a better therapist because I worked at Lauralee's Speech Therapy."
If you're looking for more than just another job—and you're ready to be part of a team that truly invests in its therapists—we'd love to meet you.
