Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to infants, toddlers, and children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Support childhood development through engaging activities, teaching moments, and behavior management strategies
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, bathing, and nap schedules for young children
- Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and social skills
- Collaborate with families and team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs
- Maintain a clean, organized environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Use first aid skills promptly in case of minor injuries or emergencies and document incidents accurately
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification or training in first aid and CPR is required or highly desirable
- Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering a nurturing environment
- Passion for caregiving with a genuine desire to support children's growth and well-being
Pay: $12.50 - $13.00 per hour
