New Hope Ministries, a respected Christian social service agency, is seeking a caring and professional individual to manage our Dillsburg Food Program. This position requires local travel, a flexible schedule, requires some evening and weekend hours, and needs someone who can work independently, is physically active, and has a desire to share the love of Christ by helping our neighbors in need. Candidates should also have experience managing people and be able to drive a box truck. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, be knowledgeable about food preparation and nutrition, have experience operating a forklift and working in a warehouse.

Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
B. Shall have at least a minimum of an associate’s degree or its equivalent in formal education and career experience
C. Shall demonstrate good human service, food service, management, and interpersonal skills
D. Shall have appropriate training and experience in managing a hunger prevention program
E. Shall obtain and maintain ServSafe food safety certification
F. Complete and maintain mandated reporter, CPR, and 1st Aid training
G. Possess a valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.
H. Should be capable of operating a truck, forklift, pallet jack and other food program equipment as needed
I. Be able to perform the physical demands of work in a warehouse and food pantry
J. Must obtain and maintain child abuse clearances
K. Must obtain and maintain mandated reporter child abuse training and serve as a mandated reporter
