Travel Ultrasound Tech

Shift: Weekends ONLY, Days, 7a-7p, Sat, Sun, and Mon, call required
**Call requirements: Saturday and Sunday Nights
**Possible floating to outpatient imaging center required

**1+ year minimum experience required
**A.R.D.M.S. or ARRT for Ultrasound vascular registry required
**BLS required
**Vascular registry (RVT) required
**General US studies experience required
**Echo experience preferred
**Ability to demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures such as, but not limited to, US imaging in abdominal, experience in cardiac adult sonography preferred, vascular, cardiac & OB procedures
The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms. Additionally is proficient at scanning small parts (thyroid, breast & scrotom) along with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis and aspirations.
