Elite Housekeeper
We are hiring an experienced Housekeeper to oversee the upkeep of common areas and vacant apartments. We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded person who is goal and team oriented.
This job context involves the grounds surrounding multifamily housing complexes. The specifics tasks of this position are performed in all weather conditions. This position involves the use of chemicals/cleansers.
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including:
- Leasing office, clubhouse, fitness center, restrooms, and hallways
- Laundry rooms, model units, and vacant apartments as needed
- Exterior areas such as breezeways, stairwells, patios, and entryways
- Support the maintenance and leasing teams by preparing units for move‑ins, including light cleaning and touch‑ups like power-washing
- Remove trash and debris from common areas and community grounds
- Report any safety hazards, needed repairs, or unusual conditions to management
- Maintain housekeeping supplies, equipment, and storage areas in an organized manner
- Follow all company safety guidelines and cleaning standards
Qualifications
- Proven background in housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience is preferred.
- Experience in maintaining strong attention to detail managing high standards for cleanliness.
- Past experience in high standard property (Class A) or relevant is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. while also performing physical tasks like bending, walking stairs and standing for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to work effectively and efficiently as a member of a professional apartment maintenance team including punctuality.
- Must be willing and able to work effectively and efficiently on an independent basis.
- Must be willing and able to effectively interact with a wide variety of personalities, maintaining excellent customer service on an ongoing basis.
- Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
- Participate in training to comply with new or existing laws.
- Be able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
