JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Administrator supports the full range of HR operations by processing HR documents and reports, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and government regulations. This role provides administrative support to HR leadership, manages payroll activities, supports onboarding activities, and assists in planning and executing employee engagement and communication initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute payroll administration tasks including reconciling pay discrepancies, resolving timekeeping issues, approving timecards, and preparing weekly labor reports for staffing agencies ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Maintain and update employee records (including I‑9s, benefits documentation, TSA forms, among other), ensuring full compliance with federal regulations and company standards. Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity across all HR processes, documentation, and systems, consistently executing tasks in accordance with established procedures and company standards to ensure timely completion.

Maintain and update employee communication boards and ensure timely posting of required materials such as legal notices, workers’ compensation information, job postings, and employee communications.

Supports HR compliance by assisting with internal audits, maintaining required documentation, and ensuring all records are filed accurately and promptly—preferably with no backlog—in alignment with company policies to maintain continuous audit readiness.

Supports the onboarding process, including preparing new‑hire documentation, generating employee ID badges, coordinating orientation logistics, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

Assists in coordinating monthly reward and recognition programs, contributing to initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and morale.

Support the preparation, submission, and tracking of STA applications and renewals to ensure ongoing compliance.

Maintain the employee ID badge program, ensuring timely issuance, updates, and compliance with company identification policies.

Provide administrative support to HR Business Partners and HR leadership, including document preparation, scheduling, data entry, and coordination of HR activities.

Maintain an accessible and service-oriented HR presence and escalate complex or confidential concerns to the HR Business Partner or HR Manager to ensure appropriate handling and resolution.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Understand and perform report preparation; simple posting and recording, typing.

Understand standardized math processes utilizing addition and subtraction.

Work as a team member with a minimum amount of supervision and the ability to multi-task.

Prepare detailed records or reports such as operating logs, quantities, etc.

Contact other departments, terminals or customers on matters involving correction or adjustment where cooperation is essential (requiring the use of tact and diplomacy) to avoid friction and delay.

The work required by the HR Administrator is variable and of a slightly complex nature which requires training from six to nine months.

Physical Demands/Work Environment: This role operates in both professional office and warehouse environments and involves frequent exposure to varying temperatures (hot and cold), moderate noise levels, dust, dirt, and changing lighting conditions.

Annual Salary of $26.29-$34.00/hr. This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include but are not limited to your specific skills, your work location, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
