About Us
We are a growing real estate development, construction, and property management company specializing in commercial developments, including gas stations, retail centers, and investment properties. Our team manages multiple entities and projects simultaneously, and we are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to oversee our day-to-day accounting operations.
This role works closely with our U.S.-based CPA firm and our overseas bookkeeping assistants to ensure accurate, timely, and organized financial records across all companies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records across approximately 40 bank accounts and multiple business entities.
- Oversee daily bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
- Coordinate accounting activities between company leadership, our CPA firm, and our offshore bookkeeping team.
- Review and reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Track project costs for multiple commercial construction projects.
- Maintain accounting records for commercial real estate properties, including rent collections, CAM charges, and property expenses.
- Monitor budgets, job costing, and vendor payments.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation for management and our CPA.
- Ensure transactions are properly coded and entered into the accounting system.
- Organize invoices, contracts, lien waivers, receipts, and other financial documentation.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Help prepare documentation for tax filings, audits, and lender requests.
- Support payroll administration and employee expense reimbursements.
- Perform general administrative and office coordination tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger management.
- Experience reconciling multiple bank accounts.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple companies and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with domestic and international teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software.
- Construction accounting or job costing experience.
- Commercial real estate accounting experience.
- Experience working with multiple legal entities.
- Familiarity with rent rolls, property management accounting, and construction draws.
- Experience coordinating with external CPAs.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
