Job Description
- Provides quality educational experiences for at-risk youth.
- Organizes, plans and develops daily instruction and courses related to Science.
- Develops lesson plans in adherence to State and Federal standards.
- Monitors daily behavior and classroom activities of students.
- Provides diversified student assignments and programs according to the individual's capabilities.
- Uses consistent and fair disciplinary techniques when required.
- Promotes role modeling through good teaching application and maintaining a high level of acceptable educational standards.
- Coordinates and interacts with other teachers regarding scheduling, managing difficult students, educational field trips and attending regular educational meetings.
- Communicates effectively with counseling, supervisory and administrative staff in conjunction with changes, problems and administration of daily activities.
- Reports directly to the Education Coordinator and/or Director.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Must have an Alabama Teacher's Certification or qualify to receive state certification!
