Provide ICU patient total care
Manage ventilated and critical care patients
Administer titratable drips and medications
Float to ER and Med Surg units as needed
Assist with patient care, IV starts, blood draws, and medication administration
Maintain accurate patient documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Floating rotation maintained by ICU float log
ER floating involves support tasks, not full patient assignments
Med Surg floating may include full patient assignments up to 6 patients or aide support duties
