Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Evening Housekeeper and Shuttle Driver to join our hospitality team. This vital role combines meticulous cleaning responsibilities with safe and reliable shuttle driving to ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable environment and seamless transportation services. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a strong commitment to safety and sanitation standards. You will track flights on your phone ensuring you are on time for every pick up and drop off of our PSA clients. In between shuttle runs you will either clean rooms, usually of the air crew you just took to the airport, OR you may be assigned to wash and fold laundry. You must be willing to do either.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including floor care, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
- Handle cleaning tasks with proper knowledge of chemical handling procedures, safety data sheets (SDS), and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests.
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of cleaning supplies, furniture, and equipment as needed while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Operate shuttle safely to transport air crew between the hotel and the airport and occassionally other locations within 3 miles, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests courteously during shuttle pickups/drop-offs and addressing any inquiries professionally.
- You may be asked to do laundry instead of cleaning rooms, depending on what needs done. You must be willing to do either
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is MANDATORY, demonstrating familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the use of cleaning equipment is essential.
- Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly by understanding SDS guidelines and practicing proper chemical handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating shuttle or similar vehicles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures ensures safety for all staff and guests during shifts.
