AeroCreeper is a family-owned business in Corinne, UT, dedicated to crafting the world’s premier adjustable-height creepers. Our products serve high-stakes industries worldwide, with a heavy focus on aviation. We don’t just need someone to draw parts; we need a creative engineer who can take a design from a napkin sketch to a finished, high-quality product.
This is a hands-on role for someone who views engineering as both a mental and physical discipline. You will be working at our where we handle everything from metalworking to final assembly.
What You’ll Do
- Design & Iterate: Use your CAD skills to design new components and improve existing ones for our adjustable-height systems.
- Prototyping: Bring your designs to life using 3D printing and manual fabrication.
- Shop Integration: Work directly on the shop floor to understand how your designs impact metalworking, upholstery, and assembly.
- Problem Solving: Tackle complex mechanical challenges to ensure our products remain the best in the industry.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. We will also consider Electrical Engineering majors who possess exceptionally strong design capabilities.
- Software Proficiency: Must be highly proficient in SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software. You should have the ability to pick up and master new software tools quickly.
- The "Maker" DNA: You aren't afraid of grease. You have hands-on experience—or a deep desire to learn—metalworking, electronics, and 3D printing.
- Self-Direction: You are a self-starter who is comfortable working with minimal supervision once a goal is established.
- Communication: Ability to explain technical designs and concepts clearly to different team members.
