Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects.
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Install and maintain low voltage systems including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), security systems, and other automation equipment.
- Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical wiring, conduit bending, framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations.
- Read and interpret local electrical codes to ensure all work complies with legal requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to coordinate electrical work seamlessly within project timelines.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience working with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical wiring in various settings including construction sites or renovation projects.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Safety Code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards is essential.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes, safety procedures, and best practices for electrical work in commercial environments.
- Construction site experience preferred; ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements while maintaining safety standards.
- Additional handyman or frame carpentry skills are a plus for supporting broader project needs.
