We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team in Watsonville, CA. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students with diverse learning needs achieve academic, social, and behavioral success through individualized instruction and collaboration with school staff and families.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provide specialized academic instruction to students with disabilities.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavior management strategies.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA and California Special Education regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid California Education Specialist Teaching Credential
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
