Job Summary
Elmira Country Club is seeking a Housekeeper to help keep our clubhouse clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for members, guests, and events. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in a clean space, enjoys working independently, and values consistency and reliability.
No prior country club experience is required - we're happy to train the right person.
What You'll Do
As an ECC Housekeeper, you'll help maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the clubhouse. Responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning and restocking restrooms
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Dusting furniture, fixtures, and common areas
- Emptying trash and recycling
- Cleaning event spaces before and after functions
- Reporting maintenance or supply needs to management
- Following cleaning and safety procedures

Physical Requirments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to ~30-40 lbs
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks for several hours
- Comfortable working with cleaning products
Schedule
- 4-5 Days/week - 5-6 hours shifts
- Mostly early-morning/daytime shifts
Experience
- Housekeeping, janitorial, or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
