Local, established Construction Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter to join our team. We offer paid holidays and paid vacation time. We pay travel time to the job site one way.
Qualifications:
- Strong Construction knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry projects.
- Ability to take direction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work in all weather.
- Measure and cut materials according to specifications.
- Must be reliable and have transportation to shop.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience with the following skills:
- Trim carpentry
- Frame carpentry
- Hand tools and power tools
- Concrete forming
- Rebar installation
- Roofing techniques
- Woodworking practices
- Caulking techniques
- Heavy lifting capabilities
- Fixture installation processes
- Cabinet installation methods
- Door hanging techniques
- Construction painting skills
- Metal stud framing knowledge
- Remodeling practices
