Job Overview
Baptist Homes of Tri County is seeking a caring and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our mission-driven team. As an LPN, you will deliver exceptional, resident-centered care while supporting the holistic needs of our residents in a Christlike manner. You’ll work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to carry out treatment plans, administer medications, and support daily wellness routines.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor residents’ health and report any significant changes or concerns
- Complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner
- Assist with ADLs and support resident independence when possible
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety procedures, and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff
- Support the spiritual well-being of residents in line with Baptist Homes’ mission
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education sessions
Qualifications
- Current and valid Missouri LPN license (Required)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Compassionate and Christ-centered approach to care
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and assist residents as needed
