Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist/Hammam Turkish Bath Service Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about holistic wellness, client-focused, and confident in both therapeutic and relaxation-based massage modalities. Candidates must be willing to perform traditional Turkish Bath services and be available to work Saturdays on a rotating basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a range of massage services including Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, and custom therapeutic techniques
Perform Turkish Bath (Hammam-style) services, including exfoliation, cleansing rituals, and hydrotherapy elements (training available if needed!)
Consult with clients to determine their individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly
Maintain detailed client records and adhere to confidentiality standards
Educate clients on wellness tips and post-treatment care
Ensure treatment rooms, bathrooms, welcome areas and wet spa areas are clean, sanitized, and stocked when there is down-time.
Collaborate with the team to deliver a luxury, five-star experience to every guest and successful cross-marketing/promotion when relevant
Qualifications:
Active Michigan Massage Therapy License (required)
2+ years of hands-on experience in a spa or wellness setting is required
Comfortable with or willing to be trained in Hammam Turkish Bath techniques
Professional, polished demeanor with excellent communication skills
Availability to work Saturdays on a rotating basis
Team-oriented, reliable, and passionate about client care
