Primary Objectives
The implant coordinator’s primary objectives are to:
- establish and maintain a trusting and supportive relationship with patients
- qualify and enlighten patients
- educate patients on the implant placement process
- build value for the patient’s experience and service
- be a liaison between the patient and the provider
- be a liaison between the patient and the referral source
- ensure high-quality patient care
- communicate with patients throughout the treatment process
Primary Duties
- Track new referring doctors and document their preferences
- Track and manage implant inventory
- Look ahead in schedule to confirm we have correct implants/parts/etc
- Replenish implant stock at locations when they are low
- Maintain current inventory
- Each day make sure patients have correct implants attached to chart
- Submit proposals for implant orders
- Disperse implant orders to all offices
- Call on AOX cases to schedule cases
- Communicate with DDS office about AOX consults
- Attend every AOX surgery
- Must bring all supplies and implant inventory to each case
- During each case help assist and take records as needed
- Attend every AOX FC to take final records
- Keep track of all failed implants and submit complaints to implant supplier
- Communicate with labs about upcoming and ongoing cases
- Communicate with implant reps about cases and any supplies needed
- Answer patient questions about implant process, healing, next steps and prosthetic delivery
- Rotate drills in implant kits
- Organize implant closet so implants, kits, etc are easily accessible
- Attend CE events to be face of clinic and help answer any questions referring offices have
- 3D print and paint dentures for AOX cases
- Monthly counts of implant procedures completed each month
- Monthly counts of grafting procedures completed each month
- Monthly counts of brands of implants used each month
- Transfer design, scan and CBCT files to referring offices, labs, and etc.
- Scan patients for guides
- Meet with providers about upcoming guided implants cases to plan procedure
- Review upcoming FC and uncover appointments weekly to give out corresponding parts to patients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
