PrideStaff on behalf of a client in Oakland Park is seeking an energetic and professional Quantum Assembly Technician to join their Production Team.
Responsibilities
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and bill of materials, gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, work orders, bills of materials, work instructions and other documents to accurately assemble products.
- Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points, according to jig board layout, using soldering gun and hand tools.
- Connects wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, switches, and solenoids, and installs accessory assemblies in electrical or electronic units, using soldering gun and hand tools.
- Conducts functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harness, and plugs, using ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Must have prior experience with electrical assemblies.
- Must have prior experience building mechanical assemblies
- Electromechanical certification is a plus.
- Prior experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical devices is a plus.
Must be able to submit to a background check and a drug screen
