Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance, rapid response to incidents, and effective conflict management. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises using surveillance equipment and physical inspections to deter unauthorized access and prevent theft or vandalism
- Monitor CCTV systems continuously to identify suspicious activity and respond swiftly to security breaches
- Manage access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Enforce security protocols and conduct conflict management to de-escalate tense situations effectively
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately and promptly
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures
Skills
- Proven experience in security roles with knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV
- Strong understanding of law enforcement procedures and conflict management techniques
- Certified in first aid and CPR for emergency medical response preparedness
- Background in military or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and discipline
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
- Familiarity with security equipment, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols
