The Cost Estimator will review and evaluate incoming RFQ’s and prepare cost estimates in collaboration with Engineering
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate incoming RFQ’s.
- Prepare cost estimates for new products collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, etc., to meet customer RFQ requirements.
- Establish bill of materials and outside service operations.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing group on RFQ requirements.
- Establish manufacturing sequence and calculated set-up and cycle times for manufacturing.
- Compile all required data for quotes to meet requested customer due dates
