Job description:
Now Hiring a 1st and 3rd shift CNC machinist to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and inspecting parts on a Vertical CNC Mill to produce quality parts to specification in a manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone with strong machining experience, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a Vertical CNC Mill
- Perform machine setups, including tooling changes and offsets
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Use inspection tools to verify part quality and dimensional accuracy
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed during production
- Read and understand G&M code
- Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- Experience setting up and operating a Vertical CNC Mill
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience performing machine setups
- Experience using inspection tools
- Working knowledge of G&M code
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Environmental, Health & Safety Requirements:
- Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the Company’s goals.
- Lifting guidelines in accordance with the Manual Lifting Guidelines noted in the Safety Handbook.
- Follow all environmental requirements consistently with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals.
- Complete, and actively participate in all other EHS training requirements.
Position & Physical Conditions:
- At least 18 years of age
- A US citizen or Green Card holder
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English at a high school level.
- Able to lift at least 35 pounds, unassisted
- Able to bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items, manual dexterity, and coordination to operate equipment
- Dependable and reliable to handle equipment safely with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Adhere to PPE requirements
