Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate
OVERVIEW
Reporting to the V.P. Distribution Operations, the Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate will be responsible for answering incoming customer service calls, performing order entry, and providing support to outside sales representatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Answer Customer Service inbound calls regarding product availability, price, order shipment confirmations and modifications to existing orders.
· Responsible for addressing customer complaints and follow up with acceptable resolution.
· Accurately and thoroughly complete customer complaint forms.
· Respond to incoming e-mails from customers and Foamtec Sale Representatives.
· Provide quotes for sales associates as well as customers on Foamtec products.
· Send EDI PO Ack, ASN and invoices.
· File invoices / Sales orders
· Update Order Ship dates
· Update customer planning reports weekly using forecast to plan manufacturing needs.
· Update customer Inventory as needed and communicate with customers on blanket POs.
· Initiating RGA’s (Returned Goods Authorization) for any damaged or incorrectly ordered parts.
· Update Routing Guides to ensure they are in the library and followed by customer service and shipping.
· Other tasks that may be assigned as needed.
· Collaborated with a team to ensure adequate inventory in stock, based on customer requirements.

· High level of discretion and maintaining confidentiality
· Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
· Associate’s degree or equivalent.
· EDI knowledge and experience.
· Dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative with 5+ years of experience fostering strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional support.
